Start this tutorial in TinkerPie Studio

1. The AI camera blocks

   Open the purple AI camera category. These blocks use your laptop webcam. The AI runs inside this browser: no picture is sent anywhere.

2. Count fingers

   Put show number inside forever. From AI camera, drop camera fingers shown into its number slot.

3. Only when a hand is there

   Without a hand, fingers is -1. Wrap it in if with camera sees a hand (AI camera) so nothing shows when your hand is away.

4. Start the camera

   Press Run. In the AI camera panel under the simulator press Start camera and allow the camera. Show 1, 2, 3 fingers. No webcam? Use the Pretend here menus.

5. Hand signs

   Try when the camera sees 👍 thumbs up with a happy icon, and ✊ fist with a sad one.

6. On the real board

   Connect the board and press Download. Keep the camera running and the USB cable plugged in: Studio sends what the camera sees to the board.
