Pins on the TinkerPie V1
S1 S2 S3 S4 · P10 P11 P12 P13 · P43 P44
Rails: 3V3, 5V, GND
Commands
pinMode(S1, OUTPUT) // INPUT, INPUT_PULLUP
digitalWrite(S1, HIGH) // or LOW
digitalRead(P10) // 1 or 0
analogRead(P11) // 0 to 4095
analogWrite(S1, 128) // 0 to 255 (dim)
rgbWrite(S1,S2,S3, 255,0,120) // RGB LED
tone(P12, 440) noTone(P12)
servoWrite(S1, 90) // 0 to 180
readDistance(P10, P11) // ultrasonic, cm
pulseIn(P11, HIGH) // echo time, µs
delay(500) // milliseconds
buttonA() buttonB() // on-board buttons
matrixSet(x, y, 'red') matrixClear()
tone(BUZZER, 880) // on-board buzzer
Serial.println("hi") millis()
map(v, a, b, c, d) constrain(v, lo, hi) random(n)
delay() works inside setup() and loop().
Sensor wiring
Ultrasonic: VCC→5V, GND→GND, TRIG and ECHO→pins.
IR / PIR: VCC→3V3, GND→GND, OUT→pin.
Temperature: V→3V3, G→GND, OUT→analog pin (°C = (volts − 0.5) × 100).
Soil: VCC→3V3, GND→GND, AOUT→analog pin.
RGB LED: long leg (−)→GND, 220 Ω on R, G, B.
No board needed
Press Hide board to build simple circuits with just a battery, switch, bulb, LED, motor and meters. They run without code.
Tips
An LED needs a resistor (try 220 Ω) or it can burn out. Keyboard: Space start/stop, R rotate, Del delete, Ctrl+Z undo. Scroll to zoom, drag empty space to pan. Click the orange switches on the sensors to place an obstacle or motion.
